Short Family – Maryland Portrait Photographer
Posted on November 23, 2010
This is one of my good friends, Sandy, and her family.
I do their portraits every year and we’re always trying to come up with different places to shoot. This year it was the Belair Stable Museum here in Bowie. And this year, their weiner dogs, Ollie and Ralphie, made the session. lol….
Hope you like them Shortie! It was loads of fun!

Old Town Alexandria is such a fun quirky little area…I always love shooting there because you can get so many different kinds of images. I met this awesomely fun family down by the water. They were so comfortable with each other and the camera…they made my job easy!
I hope you enjoy these, Mindy! I really loved meeting your family.

So, I had a friend comment that I should post these from their session as well. It’s so hard to know which images to choose over others. I don’t want anyone getting overwhelmed by posting 30 images…lol. I appreciate the input from a clients point of view. Thank you very much ladies!!!
So here goes….
The last one dad was scaring the girls but they were absolutely loving it!!!!

OpLove – Homecoming – Foster family
Posted on November 6, 2010
I really love shooting for OpLove…especially when I can shoot for a family I know personally. It really means so much more to be able to offer them what I do.
I have known the Foster family for quite a while. Nicole was my daughter’s pre-school and pre-kindergarten teacher and is now Ben’s pre-school teacher. Their family belongs to the pool we belong to. They are a sweet, loving family.
I shot their portrait session back in June when Calvin came home for a short few weeks.
When I first arrived at the airport, I thought that he would be arriving with a bunch of other service people. Come to find out….that huge group of people were all there to see HIM come home….so beautiful and overwhelming….
Nicole even set off the security alarm because she ran past the part where you’re NOT supposed to go pass to hug him…lol
I hope you enjoy your images guys…thanks so much for letting me be a part of this spectacular day!

National Harbor – Ajie & Allen – wedding
Posted on November 5, 2010
I do a lot of second shooting for a few different photographers and I enjoy it immensely! I also do some weddings under my sister’s name Kathy Blanchard Photography.
This wedding was one of those through my awesome sis. Ajie and Allen were married on a beautiful June day. They had their ceremony at a beautiful church up on Capitol Hill and their reception was at the Sunset Room at National Harbor. We stopped at the Jefferson for some portraits and the day was absolutely wonderful!!!
