Russell Family – Maryland portrait photographer

Posted on December 8, 2010

The Russells live in southern Maryland so we met half way at Bayfront Park. It’s a really neat little beach where you can sift the sand for fossils. The weather cooperated with us and we had fun walking up and down the waterfront. Little E was adorable and their furry family member, Mater, even got the hang of things after a while.

I had a lot of fun, Samantha! I hope you enjoy these!

Nichole and her family won this session in the silent auction at the spring fair at our kid’s elementary school last year. We finally got together to do it! They had said they had never done a photo session before but man, they were pros!!! Super cute and sweet family! Thanks so much Nichole it was wonderful meeting you and your family!

I hope you enjoy these! 🙂

Short Family – Maryland Portrait Photographer

This is one of my good friends, Sandy, and her family. 🙂

I do their portraits every year and we’re always trying to come up with different places to shoot. This year it was the Belair Stable Museum here in Bowie. And this year, their weiner dogs, Ollie and Ralphie, made the session. lol….

Hope you like them Shortie! It was loads of fun!

children photography maryland – Mr Ben’s own session

Posted on March 6, 2010

Finally! I was planning on scouting out this cute little train “station” in Old Bowie for possible future sessions and Ben and I had our own little session. 🙂 He’s actually getting to the age where he’s KIND OF cooperating as long as I don’t ask him to do too much…lol. We were over by the caboose for a few minutes but the sound of the tains that occasionally passed at really fast speeds kind of spooked him. I’m sure the next couple visits here he’ll be used to it. He LOVES trains…. The little covered area that looks like where you would sit at the train station and wait for your train made the perfect backdrop with the light bouncing up into it as if I was personally directing it to. Gotta love that!!!

The Library

Posted on February 6, 2010

My sis watched Ben for me yesterday so when I picked up Emma from school we had fun hanging out and being silly at the library. Emma’s girl scout troop has picked Mexico for their Thinking Day project (all the troops pick a different country and learn about them and then on Thinking Day we get together with other troops from our council and the girls present what they have learned). I love hanging out with Em…she’s growing up way too fast… 🙂

Miss M

Posted on February 4, 2010

This was another quick shoot … Miss M and I had fun playing in the snow. Another barn (I’m becoming obsessed with them!) that I have permission to shoot at (thanks Tracey, for asking them!).

K & K

Posted on February 2, 2010

I had a quick 20 minute session with these two adorable little ones! Mom had told me that she wanted a “red barn” for a backdrop so with a little asking around, we found this cute little red barn behind a dentist’s office and it was PERFECT! I love how it worked as a beautiful background with the fresh snow on the ground. thanks Laura, I had fun! 🙂
